What not answering is costing you

Right now, you're losing thousands of dollars to whoever picks up the phone first.

It's not on your books. It's in your competitor's bank account. Here's what one week of a phone ringing out looks like.

Monday · 5:47 PM

The phone rings.
You hear it but you're busy.

Amy's AC quit on the hottest Monday of June. She calls your shop at 5:47. You're under a condenser at the last job of the day. Five rings, voicemail, she hangs up.

By 5:51, your competitor picked up on the second ring and won the job. Not for the price. Not for the reviews. For one reason:

Your competitor answered the phone

Tuesday · 9:12 AM

She just booked
your competitor.

By Tuesday morning, your competitor sent a quote and locked the job in by that night. They got this job for one reason. Someone actually picked up the phone.

That customer is gone, and so is the money she was going to pay you.

Friday · 6:30 PM

That money could have been yours,
but now it’s gone for good.

By the time you’ve missed seven calls, $10,000+ has walked out the front door because you were too busy to answer your phone while on the job.

There’s another version of this week. She texts, gets an answer in seconds, picks a time, and the job is on your calendar before you’re down off the ladder. Same phone. Same you. Six questions, three minutes, free. Find out how much revenue you’re losing →

How to plug the leak

Three easy steps. Everything running in 14 days.

Step 01 · Score

Let’s find out where you’re leaking.

A contractor at a desk buried in paperwork, grinning at the one sheet that finally shows him where the work is walking out the door

Six questions, about three minutes, and it’s free. You get your results back and you know exactly where the money is leaking out of your business.

Step 02 · Strategy Call

Book a 30-minute strategy call.

A contractor shaking hands with the person who is going to set his system up

We hop on a quick call and go through your numbers together. If we’re a good fit, we move forward. If we’re not, I’ll tell you that on the call, and you still leave knowing what to fix.

Step 03 · Install

We install it in 14 days or less.

A contractor climbing a ladder to go work on a roof while the system behind him answers the calls, books the jobs and asks for the reviews

Fourteen days from now you’re up a ladder and your phone is still bringing you work. Somebody answered it, booked it and asked for the review, and it wasn’t you.

No agency-of-record contracts. No 90-day onboarding. The system runs on our server and we monitor it. The texting line switches on when the carriers approve your number, and that clock is theirs, not ours. We file the paperwork the day you sign.

We run the system. You stop losing jobs.

Five pieces, one system. Nothing new to learn. It runs while you work.

We work your profile every month so more people in your area find you first.

All of it in one place.

Calls, texts and form fills land in one app on your phone. One inbox for all of it.

Missed calls, texted back in under a minute.

From your number, before they dial the next shop.

Reviews asked for, and answered.

Every customer gets the ask, and every review gets a reply in your voice.

Reviews

Every customer gets asked right after the job, and every review gets answered. He doesn't chase anybody.

Quotes

A request comes in off his site and gets a response in about two minutes. He doesn't touch it.

His software

We didn't move him onto anything new. We made what he already had work together.

Google review

"I'm absolutely slammed out in the field all day so incoming quote requests would sit in my email til late at night. Most of the time I was too slow getting back to them and I'd lose them. Jacob automated all of it. Customer fills out the form on my site and gets a response back in like 2 minutes, best part is I don't even have to touch it. Didn't have to switch software either, he just made what I already had work together. My closing rate is up over 20% and climbing. If you run a service business and you're still doing quotes at night, call him."

Who's running J1

I built this because I watched my brother lose jobs to slower shops.

I'm Jacob Chappell. From 2017 to 2021, I was in the US Air Force, keeping C-17s in the air. You learn pretty quickly that complicated things don't break on their own. They break because someone's not doing something right.

When my brother Joseph started Turf Haven out of a single truck, he was doing everything right in the field — and still watching customers go with whoever picked up the phone first. I built systems for him, installed them in his business, and ran them alongside him for 20 months.

Today Joseph's running 400+ customers, and in those 20 months Turf Haven signed over $450K in contracted work, without spending a dollar on ads. The system did the catching, the quoting, and the following up.

I launched J1 this year, after recovering from a rare cerebrospinal fluid leak that took me out for 12 months. I'm veteran-owned and Phoenix-local — when something matters, I can stand in your shop, not email you from three states away. I install and manage systems that capture the money businesses lose when they can't answer the phone — so owners have more money, and their Saturdays back.

What it replaces

One system. A stack of tools, gone.

Most shops cobble together seven tools to do what J1 does on one server. Here's what you stop paying for the day we go live.

The software figure is the list pricing above minus $297. The jobs figure is an illustration, not a promise: a shop quoting $50,000 a month that closes 20% more of it, the lift Turf Haven measured, recovers about $10,000. Your quote volume and your close rate are different. The Strategy Call is where we run your numbers.

Pricing checked 4 August 2026. What you keep

You don’t switch software. We make what you already have work together.

Your jobs, your schedule, your invoices stay exactly where they are. Nothing to migrate, nothing new to learn. We connect to it and the leads land where you already look.

Don’t see yours? If it has an API or a Zapier connector, we can hook it up. Bring it to the strategy call and we’ll tell you straight whether it connects.

The offer

One system. One price. No fine print.

Nothing to buy on this page. Just a 30-minute call. If we’re not a fit, we’ll tell you on it.

Home service pros only — we don't take clients outside the trades. Not ready for a Strategy Call yet? See how much money you're losing first — three minutes, no pitch, your number in your inbox.

Same $297 whatever you run. Here is everything that covers, line by line, and what the build actually looks like for a lawn care company, for a plumbing shop, and for a handyman. Different trades, different jobs on the site.

Three things in that list you can check without me. A website only shows up if it is built the way Google's own starter guide describes, whoever built it. A review engine has to stay inside Google's policy on fake engagement, which is the line a lot of review software walks. And "your domain is yours" means the registrant record carries your name, which ICANN spells out and which is worth checking on whatever you own right now.

Your whole shop, in your pocket

Run the business from the truck.

Every call, quote, booking, and review — on one screen. No new app to learn. No office staff required. Just the numbers that matter, where you already look.

  • Live KPIs at a glance. Calls today, jobs booked, reviews stacking, money saved — updated in real time.
  • Quotes go out before you finish lunch. Lead in, quote out, follow-ups handled — you just see the booking.
  • We monitor it for you. Something breaks, we fix it. You don't get a ticket — you get a notification it's done.
